6. Amendment to the BSNL ( Recognnition of Executives' Association ) Rules, 2014 In partial modification of this office Notification No. BSNL/31-2/SR/2009 dated 6th January, 2014 notifying Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (Recognition of Executives' Association) Rules, 2014, sub-rule (1) of rule (5) of the said Rules stands substituted with immediate effect as follows :- "5(1) The Association shall be registered either under the Societies Act or under the Trade Union Act with its constitution / Memorandum of Association duly approved by the concerned Registrar. Similarly, any amendment in their constitution/Memorandum of Association shall require approval of the Registrar concerned." 2.The other provisions of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (Recognition of Executives' Association) Rules, 2014 issued on 6th January, 2014 shall remain unchanged. Sub: Recognition of majority representative Association of serving Executive employees in BSNL - Facilities regarding 1. This is further to this office notice of even number dated 25th May, 2016 inviting applications from the Executives' Associations in BSNL for participation in the membership verification. With a view to ensure level playing field to all the participating Associations and equal opportunity to participate effectively in the membership verification, the following facilities are extended to all the Associations till declaration of results or issue of any other instructions in this regard, whichever is earlier : (a) During the verification process, the associations can seek formal meetings with the concerned administrative authorities exclusively and only related to the conduct of verification process. (b) Five (5) Special Casual leaves for all the office bearers of the associations at all levels. The utilization of these special leaves would be during and for the support of verification process related activities only. (c) Access on BSNL intranet portal for the union/association related information to the General Secretary concerned, to facilitate a homogeneous dissemination of official communications. 2. The above facilities are extended to all the prospective participating Associations in supersession of all earlier instructions issued from time to time relating to grant of facilities to the Executives' Associations. 3. Any Association, which withdraws from participation in the membership verification or is found ineligible to participate in the membership verification, shall cease to be eligible for the facilities mentioned in the preceding paragraphs.
