CIRCLE / BRANCH NEWS DISTRICT CONFERENCE OF UDAIPUR BRANCH HELD ON 21.02.2016: GS attended District Conference of Udaipur Branch held on 21st February 2016 at Hotel Vishala, Udaipur in a grand manner. The conference was attended by Com. Prahlad Rai, GS AIBSNLEA, Com. H.L.Awasthi Circle President, Com. M.K. Morodia Circle Secy. AIBSNLEA Rajasthan and Com.Devi Lal, Org.Secy.(South). An Open Session was also organised on this occasion Shri S.L. Choudhary Fin & Exam. Controller of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU) was the Chief Guest, Com. Prahlad Rai GS and Shri Shashi Kant CE UPR was Guest of Honour & Shri Shravan Kumar, GMTD Udaipur Presided over the Function of the Open Session. Invitees from sister Unions / Associations had also participated and addressed the Open Session. Election of new set of office bearers were also held on the occasion of Branch conference. Com. J.C.Heda, CAO; Com. R.H. Sharma, DE and Com. Shakti Singh JAO were elected unanimously as Branch President, Branch Secretary and Branch Financial Secretary respectively. CEC Meeting held at Rajkot dtd 21.02.2016: The 1st Circle Executive Committee Meeting of AIBSNLEA, Gujarat Circle and 6Th District Conference of Rajkot Branch held in a splendidly manner at Engineering Association Hall, Udhyognagar, Near Bhaktinagar Railway Station Circle, Rajkot on 21.02.2016. Shri J K Patel, Circle Secretary, Shri C R Ranga, President, Shri C M Saste, OS (West), Shri M M Kanani, Advisor, CHQ, Shri B K Shah and SHRI A R Dave CWC Members, Circle Office bearers, DS, DP & CEC members from all branches, Executives from Rajkot SSA attended the conference. Shri C R Ranga, Circle President welcomed all the dignitaries on the dias, Circle/District office bearers from all over Gujarat & Executives of Rajkot SSA. He emphasised the CEC with his opening remarks. He also welcome all the new members who joined our Association. The CS Shri J K Patel requested all the members to work together in all fields in the interest of BSNL and to strengthen our association. In his speech, he elaborated the on going activities, cadre related issues and other HR issues taken up with Circle Administration. All the Branch Secretaries submitted their branch report with membership detail, quota remitted to Circle/CHQ and submitted the issues to be taken-up at Circle as well as CHQ level. Shri V P Sharma, Finance Secretary requested all branches to ensure deposition of subscription for CHQ & Circle Quota up to December 2016 in time. The CEC was concluded with vote of thanks by Shri R A Vyas, DS Rajkot Branch OPEN SESSION : Shri M S Dhillon, Hon. Chief General Manager Telecom, Gujarat Circle as Chief Guest and Shri Prakash Goplani, GMTD, Rajkot as Guest of Honour graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. The function started by a Warm Welcome speech from Shri R P Kalaria , DP Rajkot SSA. Comrades from AIBSNLEA, Rajkot presented the bouquets to the honourable dignitaries followed by lighting the lamps by honourable dignitaries on the dias. Rajkot SSA also took the opportunity to honour the retired officers of SSA and appreciated their service for BSNL. GB Meeting at Ahmedabad on 14.02.2016: The special general body meeting of AIBSNLEA Ahmedabad Telecom District, Circle office branch and civil and Electrical unit branch of Ahmedabad was held at Western union Mazdoor Sangh Hall, Railwaypura, Ahmedabad on 14th February 2016. It was well organized with a mammoth gathering & maximum members have attended. The proceedings commenced at 16.00 hrs. Shri N.P.Patel, DS, Ahmedabad Telecom District & Shri S.R.Mishra, Vice President, Gujarat Circle welcomed and escorted our beloved GS. Shri O.P. Sharma DS (Civil ) Branch and Shri V. P. Sharma, FS, Gujarat Circle presented bouquet to Shri Prahlad Rai, GS AIBSNLEA and Shri J.K.Patel, Circle Secretary Gujarat. Com B.K. Shah CWC Member has presided over the meeting. Our Ex-Circle Secretary Shri Amlendu Guha attended the meeting on our request and addressed the house. Shri J.K. Patel, CS in his speech informed regarding various organizational activities held in Gujarat including district conferences at Junagadh, Jamnagar & Surendranagar in the month of Feb,16.
